Chris brings more than 30 years of civil engineering experience to his role as Director of Entitlements and Engineering at Trilogy Investment Company. He leads the firm’s efforts in securing zoning approvals, development entitlements, and infrastructure planning across its growing portfolio of developments. His unique blend of private consulting expertise and public service allows him to navigate complex regulatory environments with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia and two other states, Chris has supported public and private sector clients throughout metropolitan Atlanta and across the country. He has worked closely with landowners, institutions, and municipalities to deliver sustainable, code-compliant developments that align with local policies and community needs.
Prior to joining Trilogy, Chris served for over eight years on the Alpharetta City Council, including two years as Mayor Pro Tem. He was appointed as Council Liaison to the Department of Engineering and Public Works and contributed to state-level advisory groups, helping shape local and regional infrastructure policy. During his service, Chris was actively involved in the development of Alpharetta’s iconic City Center, Avalon and the Alpharetta Conference Center.
Chris graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Structural Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University (now Kennesaw State University). He lives in Alpharetta with his wife, Jennifer, and is active in civic and charitable organizations, including Alpharetta Rotary, the Lionheart School, and the Alpharetta YMCA. Outside the office, he enjoys CrossFit, golf, NASCAR and craft brewing.
